What IS NewLife Behavior Ministries?

     NewLife Behavior Ministires (NLBM) is a 501 (3) (c) non-profit, tax-exempt corporation originally founded in Dallas, Texas by Dr. Hilery M. Motsinger in 1984 under the name:  Family Upreach.  It is financed by gifts from churches, individuals and businesses as well as by grants from foundations and trusts. It operates under a Board of Trustees.  Buck Griffith has served as President of NLBM since July 2002.  The central office is located in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Regional Directors assist NLBM throughout the United States and in several foreign countries.

     NLBM is a faith-based curriculum ministry that currently consists of twelve primary courses plus a Children's Edition of Course 1.

  • Course I:  "A Sense of Self"  (13 Lessons)
  • Course II:  "A Sense of Family"  (13 Lessons)
  • Course III: "Parenting Matters"  (13 Lessons)
  • Course IV: "True Freedom"   (13 Lessons)
  • Course V:  "Christian Marriage Skills " (13 Lessons.)
  •  CourseVI:  "The Christian Woman"  (13 Lessons)
  • Course VII: "Attitudes & Behaviors"  (14 Lessons)
  • Course VIII: "Christians Against Substance Abuse"  (CASA, 13 Lessons)
  • Course VIIIb:  "Christians Against Sex Addiction"  (13 Lessons)
  • Course IX:  "Family Net"  (13 Lessons)
  • Course X:  "The Seeker Series"  (10 Lessons)
  • Course XI:  "Prisoners of Christ"  (13 Lessons)
  • Course XII: "Managing My Anger"  (13 Lessons)
  • Children's Edition:  Course I -- "A Sense of Self"  (13 Lessons) 

The first eight courses are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Bulgarian and Russian.     

NLBM is a program beneficial to all religious organizations (Muslims, Jewish, Catholics, atheists, etc.) but especially to those who strive to use God's Word as their rule of faith.

     The principles taught can be understood by anyone interested in learning a better way of living.  This curriculum enables the student to produce positive lifestyle changes.
