NewLife Behavior Network of OKlahoma
NLB Goal

OUR GOAL:

SOWING, CULTIVATING AND TEACHING TRUST IN GOD TO CHANGE MEN'S LIVES.

NLBN of OK is committed to working in partnership with local, state and federal correction authorities to provide inmates the opportunity for reform and establishing a roadmap for reconciling their lives to their Creator, themselves, their families and their communities.

SOW :  NLBN will sow the seed of "rethinking" in the hearts of inmates daily through self-study and through group support held weekly.

ASSIST:  We will assist inmates in developing a plan of action preparing for re-entry into their families and communities.  Helping inmates to identify and carry out their re-thinking processes will help produce positive behavioral changes

CULTIVATE:  We will provide intensive cultivation of the released inmate's plan of action toward the road to the "reconciliation of the whole man".  In this step, the NLBN provides an environmental cultivation for the released inmate.  A maximum of 12 released inmates will be housed in our transitional housing unit, The Home of Hope.  Here, released inmates will begin a daily enrichment program designed to refocus their thinking, cultivate and manage new bahavioral patterns, and establish short and long-range goals and opportunities for their lives and the lives of their children and other family members.

COMPLETE RESTORATION:  Our primary objective is the complete and thorough restoration of the family unit.  Every aspect of the effects of the father's negative behavior, and the impact it has had on the family must be considered.  Behavior will be modified within the family in a positive manner.  Eventually, the problems of the other family members will be addressed through family counseling.
