NEW LIFE BEHAVIOR NETWORK of OKLAHOMA, INC.,*
*NLBN of OK, INC.
The New Life Behavior Network (NLBN) of Oklahoma is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an alternative for individuals and families to regain control of their lives through Biblical and spiritual guidance. We recognize the good efforts of other Twelve-Step programs, and these are good beginnings. But statistics show that there is a 90% failure rate with these methods and other recovery programs. This high rate of failure results because these programs only address the apparent substance abuse and not the whole person and his or her other character defects.
The NLBN uses a nationally-proven counseling and self-improvement curriculum, the "New Life Behavior Curriculum", developed by Dr. Hilery M. Motsinger, Ed.D. This curriculum is designed to help reconcile a person to God, his family and society. It was designed for people in all walks of life and has been well-received by Christians and non-Christians alike. It is a proven success, written and field-tested over a period of 12 years. It has provided a ministry of hope to many who have lost their way in life.
The NLB uses the Bible as a reference text, yet this is not a Bible course. Rather, the Bible is used as a guide-line to teach desired change in the behavior, attitudes, and concepts of the student. The goal is to integrate what a person thinks, and feels and how he behaves with the illustration of Bible texts. NLB is designed to equip both males and females, ranging from teenagers to adults.
